What LifeRead collects
When you sign up, we collect your email address. We also save your chapter progress and game scores so you can pick up where you left off. We do not collect your real name, address, or phone number unless you choose to share them with us by email.
How we use your information
We use your email to sign you in and to contact you about your account. We use your progress data to show you which chapters you have finished and how many chapters you have left this month. We do not sell your information.
Read Aloud and voice
The Read Aloud feature can use your device's built-in voice or a voice from our service. When you use the high-quality voice, the text you tap is sent to our service to create audio. We do not keep or share that text.
Cookies and storage
LifeRead stores a small login token in your browser so you stay signed in. We also store your progress locally on your device. You can clear this data by signing out or clearing your browser storage.
Sharing your information
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or other companies. We only share it when the law requires us to, or when we need a trusted service provider to help run the app.
Keeping your data safe
We protect your account with a password and secure sign-in. Please choose a password you do not use on other sites. No system is perfect, so we also recommend keeping your email account safe.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. If you want to delete your account and data, email us and we will remove it as soon as we can.
